Congratulations to our awesome Harrier Chris Hopkins, who finished in 1st place at the Round the Springs 10K race in Greyabbey on Friday evening. Chris finished in a blistering time of 33:57 minutes.
If I told you there was a race that involved getting alcohol and pies at every mile then naturally you would expect to find a few harriers at the starting line dressed to drink and run with a few giggles and wobbles along the way. This charity event for Music and Mind is an amazing social event that attracts all sorts of creatures that dance, sing, and bring some fun into this hilly four mile route that turned out a lot more when not running in a straight line. A massive well done to the organisers and to everyone who participated.
