Mayfair 10k Race

EVENT DETAILS
The 3rd Annual Mayfair 10k and 5k Fun Run on Saturday 27^th May 2017 will commence at 10:00 am from Ballyclare Rugby Club, The Cloughan, Doagh Road, Ballyclare, BT39 9JD.

ONLINE ENTRY
Online entry is ‘now closed‘. On the day entry open from 8-9.30 am

10K (15 yrs min age)
ANI Registered Athlete – £15.00
Unregistered Athlete – £18.00

5K Fun Run (11 yrs min age)
ANI Registered Athlete – £8.00
Unregistered Athlete – £10.00

LATE ENTRY
Available on race day from 8:00 – 9:30 am
10K – £20.00
5K Fun Run – £10.00

REGISTRATION & PACK COLLECTION
Packs can be collected at Ballyclare Rugby Club on Thursday 25th May from 6.00-9.00pm and on the day from 8:00-9:30 am.The first 500 entries will receive a hi-viz orange technical t-shirt.  Your race pack will contain goodies and your chipped race number.

WATER STATIONS
There will be one water station on the 5k route; and two water stations on the 10k route (at approximately 3k and 8k).

PARKING
There will be parking available at the rugby club, but access in and out of the lane will be closed at 9:45 am for the commencement of the race, so please allow plenty of time to park and collect packs.  YOU MUST NOT PARK AROUND POLICE CONES or obstruct areas of the race course.

COURSE SAFETY
Course routes, which are both one complete lap, will be available to view on www.athleticsni.org.  The surrounding roads will be closed for the start of the race, after which the traffic will be allowed through, so for your safety you must follow all marshal instructions and remain within the course at all times.  It is not safe to wear headphones during road races.  Please be aware that leading 10k athletes may catch the tail end of fun runners entering the finishing rugby club lane, so please follow the marshals’ directions and 10k/5k markers, and do not obstruct athletes.  Please note for Health & Safety reasons, runners will not be allowed to compete pushing prams or leading dogs.  The 10K course is certified by an ANI measurer and both 10K and 5K have been duly risk assessed and approved by PSNI.  The Athletics Northern Ireland Permit Registration Number is ANI/0217/RR1123 and this Event is Insured under UK Athletics Ltd, Policy Number 74UKC17931.

REFUNDS
Please note no refunds will be given once a registration is completed.  There will also be no refunds if the race has to be cancelled or postponed due to circumstances outside our control, for example due to adverse weather conditions or on police advice.  In such cases we will endeavour to inform participants as quickly as is possible.
