Chris Hopkins started 2020 by going even faster! His superb PB time of 17:17 at Victoria ParkRun, Belfast made him one of the fastest male ParkRun finishers in Ireland!

16/11/19 Wendy Runs for Northern Ireland
County Antrim Harrier Wendy Forsythe was in action at Aintree on Saturday representing Northern Ireland that the British and Irish Masters XC International. Wendy rose to the occasion taking the testing 6k course in her stride and giving her all. The Club is very proud of her
16/11/19 Lyn & Sarah Secure Podium Place
Well done to training partners Lyn Hardie and Sarah Kinnear in the Tollymore Trail Ultra event (40 miles). The ladies crossing the line together in an impressive 7:35:09, to take a well-deserved podium place (third female finishers).
3/11/19 Successful Wild Running
Newbie Harriers, Barbara Dalton and Lorna Haggan, had a superb Club race debut at the latest We Run Wild NI trail event! They took on the challenge of 26.2 miles of muddy puddles, hills, and self navigation, to achieve joint second places!

30/10/19 Pure Running Half Marathon Series Awards
Congratulations to Erin Montgomery (3M45) and Andrew Wilson (2M40) who were prize winners in this year’s Pure Running Half Marathon Series.

27/10/19 IAU 24 Hour World Championships
The Club is very proud of Louise Smart; who again represented Ireland this weekend (26/27 October) at the IAU 24-Hour World Championships in Albi, France. Unfortunately injury meant that Louise had to make the difficult decision to retire after 12hours (and 101.49km) – and the Club wishes her a speedy recovery.

13/10/19 Wendy Selected for Northern Ireland Team
Congratulations to Wendy Forsythe who took first in her age group at the NI Masters XC Championships and Trials at Queens Playing Fields, and made selection for the team to compete at the British and Irish International XC in Southport on 16th November.
6/10/19 Record Breaking Weekend for County Antrim Harriers
County Antrim Harriers fielded two Teams at the prestigious 2019 Northern Ireland & Ulster Road Relay Championships, hosted by Orangegrove AC. Conditions were perfect at Victoria Park and the Harriers were in fine form.
First up were Andrew Wilson, Sam Dunlop, Stuart Gowans and Thomas Waterfield in the Masters Mens race (4 x 3380m). The men gave their all and were rewarded with a superb finishing time of 49.55 to set a new Club Record. Not to be out done, Natasha Hewitt, Ruth Morrison, and Jana Ross swished their ponytails and pulled out all the stops, to also set a new Club Record (39.00) in the Seniors Ladies race (3 x 3380m)! The ladies were delighted to placed sixth overall and be the first placed County Antrim team.
