CAH donate to Cancer Lifeline after our 2017 MayFair Race
Irene-first and foremost, many many thanks for the £500 cheque donation from the May Fair races organised by the County Antrim Harriers which we received today (25.7.17). It is very much appreciated. At the minute, the funding climate is very challenging and we are experiencing difficulties securing funding as there is less money about and it has become increasingly competitive.
Please convey our genuine thanks to everyone involved.
We don’t actually require any photographs for publicity but if it is something that the Club would like we could arrange something.
Once again our genuine thanks and appreciation for both the Club and your support.
Hope you manage to get a break away or to at least catch a few rays of sunshine.

1/7/17 Louise Makes Club History
Louise made Club history, yet again, by becoming the first Club member to represent Ireland as she competed in the IAU World 24 Hour Championships at Victoria Park, Belfast. The prestigious event attracted over 300 top ultra athletes from over 40 countries. In only her second 24 hour endurance event, she bettered the distance she covered at the 2016 Energia 24 Hour Race, completing over 124 laps, equating to a staggering 127.76miles / 204.11Km, in the 24 hours, to finish as first Northern Ireland Lady in the World Championships; Silver Medallist in the AAI National Championships; and 38th in the World! Her great performance aided the Team Ireland ladies to achieve a top ten position in the Team event. The Club is extremely proud of Louise and her magnificent achievement.
21/6/17 Hill & Dale Success for Christine
Well done to Christine Murray for winning third in her age group, for her consistent performances over the 11 races of this tough series.
