23/9/17 Causeway Coast Events

The Club was again well represented at the tough Causeway Coast events, organised by 26 Extreme, with racers in each distance.  All raced strongly – special mention to those who took in the event for the first time, and to Louise Smart who secured a podium place in the ultra (2F / 20th overall). Another good day out!

18/9/17 Irene is a winner in Pure Running Half Marathon Series

Many congratulations to Irene Downey, whose strong and consistent 13.1 mile racing, resulted in her winning the F50 category in the Pure Running Half Marathon Series!  Irene’s success also makes Club history, as she is the first member to be a winner in this tough series.

17/9/17 Harriers Impress at Belfast Half Marathon

On Sunday 17th September, in near perfect conditions, twenty-six County Antrim Harriers, along with over 3,000 other runners, toed the line at Ormeau Park before touring the streets of Belfast in the 5th Deep River Rock Belfast City Half Marathon.  The Harriers were in fine form; with focused summer training, as well on-course support from Club members, resulting in a plethora of well-deserved PBs and excellent distance debuts.  Well done all!
