28/10/18 New Record, PBs & Debuts at Dublin Marathon
On Sunday 28th October, in chilly but bright conditions, twenty-six Harriers, joined over 20,000 others, to run the popular SSE Airtricity Dublin Marathon. The Harriers’ months of focused and dedicated marathon training paid off, with a new Club Record being set, a plethora of PBs, and strong distance debuts given. Despite the pain, all seemed to “enjoy” the experience and were buoyed by the support along the route from friends, family and Club members.
Congratulations to Natasha Henderson who broke her own Club Record with a superb time of 3:24:48; and special mention to Graeme O’Hara, sisters Heather Gault and Joanne Robinson, and Brian McFall on their great distance debuts. Also to Louise Smart, Nigel McGookin, Glenn Smart, Aaron Anderson, Simon McDowell, Andrew Wilson, Sarah Kinnear, Julie Young, Rhonda Barclay, Eileen Stewart PB on their PB producing performances. Very well done all.
