{"id":4796,"date":"2021-04-12T12:04:32","date_gmt":"2021-04-12T11:04:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/countyantrimharriers.co.uk\/?p=4796"},"modified":"2021-04-12T12:04:33","modified_gmt":"2021-04-12T11:04:33","slug":"2-4-21-county-antrim-harriers-clean-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/countyantrimharriers.co.uk\/?p=4796","title":{"rendered":"2\/4\/21 County Antrim Harriers Clean Up"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Members of popular local running club, County Antrim Harriers, recently joined with the County Antrim Countryside Custodians, to take time to tidy the roads they run.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cBig Green Clean\u201d took place from 13-31 March, and Harriers (&amp; families) donning high-vis vests and red protective gloves, and armed with litter-pickers, collectively lifted all manner of litter from roads and verges including bottles, scratch cards, McDonalds bags, face masks, plastic sheets, plates, tumblers and the odd steering wheel cover! The cleaning spree covered roads from Ballynure, Ballyrobert, Woodburn, Doagh, Ballyeaston, Burnside, Ballyclare itself and every back road and path in between. In total, a staggering 153 bags of litter were lifted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Club spokesperson said \u201cCounty Antrim Harriers are delighted that our collective effort has made a noticeable difference to our local area.
